I am a member of several groups out there, have been for a couple years now. Here lately, I am noticing more and more that my posts are been censored. By that, I mean the moderator is deciding which ones are allowed to pass on to the other members of the group.
The ones that I am noticing not being allowed to pass are ones that mention anything about information that can be found on my site, darts411. The info I post is mainly in reply to a question that is asked by another group member. They ask and I try to help but big brother moderator says no, kinda defeats the whole point of the group.
That is why I really like the forums we have set up here at Darts411.com. We are only going to monitor for things that are not really dart or pool related. That still does not mean we will delete the whole message.
Spamming a forum, that is hard to do here. We have places set up for people to mention there business services and products. Now, they may put them in the wrong place. If they do that we will contact them and have them repost in the right place or we will just move it ourselves.
I just got banned from 1 yahoo group that I have been a member of for over a year and a half now. They said it was because I said they allowed spam and that they made group members wait to long, at times, for a post to go through. I am thinking about posting the whole thing here in the forums and let everyone know what happened. I am leaning more towads doing that right now than not.
Well, let me know what you think..... _________________ Admin of telling you where to stick'em!
